King Tutankhamun, more affectionately known in modern times as King Tut, was the Nisut (ruler) of Kemet during the 18th dynasty from 1332–1323 BC. His name, Tutankhamun, means the "Living Image of Amun".

King Tutankhamun reigned during the period of Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) history known as the New Kingdom, and although he was only nine-years-old when he ascended to the throne, the "Boy King" Tutankhamun has much significance in history stemming from the fact that his almost 10 year reign is closely related to the climax of Kemet as a world power.

Tutankhamun may be the world's most largely known Nisut, primarily because his tomb in the Valley of the Kings was discovered almost completely intact--the most complete Kemetic royal tomb ever found, naturally making his image and artifacts the most-exhibited throughout modern day history.
