We Buy Black and SheaMoisture have teamed up to bring the culture the Black Business Relief Fund. After reviewing 3588 applications carefully, we have settled on 20 awardees, each awarded a $5,000 grant. The 16th business is Supreme Foods Worldwide, an excellent business that is totally worthy of this honor.
Supreme Foods Worldwide is a Franchise Holding Company that owns and operates two concepts; Supreme Fish Delight and Supreme Burger. Supreme Burger is a gourmet halal burger franchise company that provides opportunities for small business entrepreneurs. The company is certified as an Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) and can operate in airports, convention centers and free standing locations. Supreme Burger has a unique menu that features Beef, Lamb, Turkey, Veggie, Jerk, Salmon and Vegan burgers. The company provides catering for corporate and government offices and delivery through Fooda, Foodee, Grub Hub, Door Dash and Uber.
Most recently, Supreme Foods Worldwide established a family foundation and a vending company to support concessions and vending in arenas, stadiums and schools. Supreme Foods Worldwide established a meals on wheels program to provide food services to seniors and youth in their community. The meals on wheels program is currently providing meals to over 1,000 seniors each week. Within this program, the company has made provision for Muslim seniors, allowing them to receive Halal meals. Through their Supreme Cares program, the company provides scholarships and grants to individuals and organizations that align with their core vision. The company’s Youth V.I.B.E. program helps to “expose youth to the skills and experiences that teach and encourage business leadership.” Youth V.I.B.E. is celebrating 25 years of serving the community, teaching entrepreneurship and youth empowerment.
After the outbreak of COVID-19, Supreme Foods Worldwide enhanced their commitment to the community, delivering over 10,000 meals each week to seniors and youth in the community. The commitment is daunting, especially in the face of declining revenues brought on by the ongoing pandemic. Consumers have less to spend and restaurants feel the impact well before other businesses do. Even so, Supreme Foods is determined to persist and thanks to We Buy Black and SheaMoisture, the company will have a little more help in doing so.
