Black Owned Supplement Company Crafts Formulas for Black Bodies

Every year Americans spend $35 billion on vitamins, minerals and various other supplements. Most do very little for the user and practically none of it is recycled back into the Black community, until now. Electric pHood is an herbal supplement company that is not only Black owned but features a line of products specifically blended for Black people. Their formulas get results: fibroids, high blood pressure, prostate health and a range of other ailments Black people suffer from can be aided through this dynamic line of herbal supplements.

Dr. Amsu Anpu, Dr. Amun Neb, and Michael Lartey are the founders of Electric pHood. The founders worked with Dr. Sebi and studied other herbalists for years in order to produce their products. As they see it Black people suffer worse health outcomes because they are underserved, disproportionately suffer from poverty, and the standard American diet simply doesn’t supply the nutrition that African people need. Many people take supplements but those products just aren’t engineered for Black people. For example, Black women metabolize estrogen differently than others, according to Electric pHood‘s Founders. Electric pHood ‘s formulas are different and as a result, they’ve helped women with reproductive health, thyroids, bloating, cramping and a host of other ailments. Men have seen tremendous improvement in prostate health and fat loss. From energy loss to osteoporosis and arthritis, Electric pHood supplements have been shown to be effective in helping people live better lives.

Dr. Anpu studied endocrinology and metabolism at the University of London. Dr. Neb studied physiology and anatomy, while Lartey studied electrical engineering at Kingston University. All three worked in the corporate sector but also assisted people on the side with health and nutrition. They started out blending products at their homes but after being featured on “The Breakfast Club” radio show, demand skyrocketed. They needed mass production but existing manufacturers wanted the founders to give over their proprietary formulas. That was a non-starter for these three Black men. They went to work researching manufacturing equipment and ultimately, pulled together the capital to get their own machines custom made. Electric pHood is now fully independent as a manufacturer based in Georgia and growing their customer base everyday.

All vitamins and supplements aren’t made equally. That is especially true if the products are to be used in Black bodies. Electric pHood is the product of years of sincere research, from Black doctors who are especially concerned about the wellbeing of Black people. Electric pHood products actually get results and best of all, this company is an independent manufacturer committed to investing back into the community.
