Give Your Child the Gift of Bilingualism With Language Link

Language Link, LLC is an online language learning platform where children and adults can learn Spanish, French, English, and Business English from professional native speakers from all over the world.

Language Link was founded by LaShonda Fields a year and a half ago around the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a former Spanish teacher with over 15 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Fields truly has a passion for language learning and instruction.

“Bilingualism goes beyond just learning another language. It broadens mental development, thought patterns, and world perspective. Both children’s and adults’ brains benefit from the regular use of two or more languages and can be a beneficial exercise for our cognition at any age,” Fields explained.

During the pandemic, Fields began teaching Spanish on Zoom to students in different states and noticed how easy it was to connect and reach other students in different states, and as a result, Language Link was founded. She wanted to create a language program to include access to a variety of accents, expressions, and cultures and will always learn the most up-to-date words and phrases used by speakers worldwide, giving her students a completely immersive experience from the comfort of their own homes.

Fields began Language Link by doing Zoom classes with some of her students, but after a while wanted to dive deeper into the business model. She wanted her language program to include dialects, accents, and even popular slang so that students get a real sense of the language.

“I want to grant access children in every community the opportunity to learn another language,” Fields expressed.

Language Link is an easy three-step program:
Step 1: Get Language Linked; choose the language and the course intensity.
Step 2: Book your classes; select the day, time, or topic.
Step 3: Start learning immediately.

The intensity of the course depends on how many 30-minute sessions a client decides to do a week. You can do classes once a week, twice a week, three times a week, or five times. You also have the opportunity to choose teachers from different countries; for example, if you want to learn Spanish, you could choose someone from Spain or Costa Rica — the option is yours.

“We don’t simply teach from a textbook. Through our rotation of international teachers, we highlight the linguistic and cultural diversity of different countries, focusing on words, expressions, and cultural aspects associated with it,” Fields explained.
