Gift-giving in the office can be painstaking. Why? Well you have the people who don’t really want to know who they are working with. Then you have the overly friendly coworkers, the newly employed coworkers and the “cliques.” Lots of variations in one place. The great thing about office gift giving, is that the gifts are usually $20 or less. So here are my 3 favorite personal recommendations to complete Gift Giivng at your Office.
3: POSH CANDLE CO.
We all have that one coworker who consistently brags about how many candles they burn, bought or need for that much needed after work detox. Posh Candle Co
is the way to go. Her unique candle names, scents and price range are perfect. In addition, Posh hand pours each candle using GMO free U.S. grown soy wax and lead free cotton – this is a deal. Choose the one that represents your coworker the best. And you might need to get some for yourself too!
#2: TRILL TEA
While tea was once left for special occasions for the British, Black Millenials are embracing tea more than ever. So why not buy them a tea that they can relate to. The Creator of Trill Tea, Chaz, created it to take a cooler and non intimidating approach on making tea and making it more culture driven. He wanted to be able to disrupt the current tea culture and make it “FOR US.” This would also be a dope gift to give any coworker (Ginger Hendrix being my absolute favorite).
#1: Olivia & Sophia Stationary
For this season, this was by far the best gift I have seen. From journals, planners, mugs and cute heeled notepads, Olivia & Sophia Stationary is sure to please anyone from the Boss to the Secretary. I am a writer (d’uh) and I need a mug to sip my Trill tea (there’s a chance this is also a wine mug). And of course, I gotta have an Olivia & Sophia handkerchief for when Suzy breaks down about what her boyfriend didn’t do last night. I chose this line as my #1 pick because it’s a perfect fit for every girl in your office. When gifting someone something from this line, he/she will get that you actually thought about them as an individual – not just a name picked out of #7 envelope.]]>
