We certainly hope that there will be no occasion for return, but in case there is we have a clear, concise policy that should make it easy to return an item to The Handbag Maven. All returns must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery. At this time, we will be shipping via USPS with merchandise insurance.
1. Please inspect all of your items upon receipt. Retain all packaging and invoices until the correctness and condition of the merchandise has been verified by you.2. If there are any missing or damaged items, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The subject line should read MERCHANDISE RETURN REQUEST OR MISSING ITEMS.3. In the body of the email state which items that need to be returned and the reason why along with your invoice number.Include your name, address and phone number just in case we need to call you about your order.4. Approved returns will be issued an RMA( return authorization number) and a return label will be emailed to you. Include a copy of your sales invoice in the box with the merchandise to be returned. It is your responsibility to pay the shipping costs for the return of merchandise along with insurance. The exception to this is merchandise deemed to have a manufacturer's defect or if the incorrect merchandise is shipped to you. In addition, returns that are not for manufacturer's defect or our error are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Merchandise returned to us without obtaining a RMA number will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.If you wish to exchange an item , please email email@example.com. The subject line should read MERCHANDISE EXCHANGE. Please state the item(s) that you wish to return and the item that you want as a replacement. Return merchandise must be in new, unworn condition with all tags intact. It is the customer's responsibility to pay the postage and insurance fees for merchandise being exchanged to be returned to us. Exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Requests for exchanges must be received by us via email within 7 days of your merchandise being delivered to you or notice of delivery attempt.5. At this time, we are unable to issue cash refunds, but we will happily exchange your items for you. There are no refunds or exchanges of jewelry and scarves.
