I designed my hobo bag to be a simple and graceful take on the traditional silhouette. Like all my handbags, they are designed to be big on the inside and small on the outside. My version is a bit more structured than your average hobo, with square gussets (the bottom of the bag) and a curved zipper closure (most hobos have a snap closure).
Nobody likes carrying around huge, sloppy, shapeless bags, but you don't want to leave any of your *stuff* at home, either, right?
This bag is perfect for you, then. The generous but manageable size, the long strap, and the simple silhouette combine to create a great looking bag that is easy to wear and practical, too. You could easily fit your wallet, camera, phone, a bottle of water, a big fat paperback novel, and much much more in this bag!
The Holland Cox hobo sits 7.5" tall, and is 11" wide at its base, with roomy 3.5" deep gussets. The single strap is 32" long, which means the generously sized body will sit right at your hip. The bag closes with a gently curving 12" zipper, and is fully lined in matching cotton fabric, with three interior pockets. The last image shows the hobo bag in someone's lap to illustrate scale.
This hobo bag is in black denim with a black and white chevron print accent. The lining and zipper are also black.
