Beautiful Fair Trade bracelet (on elastic/fits most).  Center bead is handmade and hand painted in Kenya.  The center bead is a Kazuri (small and beautiful).  Your purchase supports employment for the women in a Kenyan village who make the beads.  I have worked with these beads for years; creating very unique jewelry for a cause.

KAZURI, meaning "small and beautiful", is a grassroots project founded in 1975 by Lady Susan Wood.  Situated on the Karen Blixen Plantation (from "OUT OF AFRICA"), Kazuri employs over 300 women.  The clay is dug by hand from the rich earth of Mount Kenya, then hand-shaped and painted, on carefully crafted piece at a time.  Your purchase invests in women. Investing in women changes lives.
