Finding the perfect invitation for your special event can be a daunting task. Trying to find invitations that feature African Americans makes that task all the more difficult. Sweet Berry Lane is here to change this.
The idea behind Sweet Berry Lane came in 2005 while the founder, Yolanda N. Ingram, was searching for invitations for her son’s first birthday party. After exhausting hours searching online and driving from store to store, she was unable to find anything suitable and had to settle for a generic invitation.
Although discouraged by this event, a seed of hope was planted that would continue to blossom. She began by creating invitations for family and friends, but wanted everyone to have the opportunity to be able to find such products that featured African American characters.
In 2007, she created Sweet Berry Lane and began selling its products in stores via the www.sweetberylane.com website.
Whether customers are looking for a first birthday invitation for their baby girl, a pre-school graduation announcement as she enters “big school”, a sweet sixteen invitation for her coming out party, a bridal shower invitation for her wedding, or a baby shower invitation as the cycle continues and she becomes a new mom, Sweet Berry Lane will be able to provide it every step of the way.
Sweet Berry Lane offers stationery for men, women and children from birth up to their 100th birthday and all events in between.
